Tips:

  • When buying, look for smaller turnips that feel heavy for their size, with firmly attached roots and no blemishes.

  • To prepare the turnip, cut the top and tail and use a peeler or paring knife to remove the skin.

  • Food waste tip: Turnip greens are delicious and should not be discarded. Remove the central stalk with a paring knife and give them a thorough wash. Chop them into the desired size.
