Tips:
To prepare, wash the tomato and remove the green core at the top with a paring knife - cut into the desired shape.
To remove the tomato skin, carve out the core at the top of the tomato and make an incision at its base. Pop the tomato into boiling water for 30 seconds. Remove from the pot and place in a bowl of cold water. When cooled, the skin will peel off easily.
Tomato leaves are very toxic, so never eat them!
