Tips:
Collard greens can be hard to find in the UK, so you can substitute them with Spring Greens or Kale.
To avoid tough stalks, remove the stem from each leaf with a knife or by tearing the leaves.
Once clean, lay the leaves on top of each other, roll them together tightly and cut the Collard green into thin strips.
Food waste tip: Save the stalks and use them in a stew or soup - the longer cooking time will break down the tough fibres.
