Broad Beans BANNER.png

Seasonality:

June · July · August

Carbon Footprint (CO2e/kg):

1.55 kg

Tips:

  • When buying, look for green pods that are firm and crisp without too many blemishes (some browning is fine).

  • If you’re looking to eat them whole, select broad beans that are young and small (the size of your palm).

  • If you purchase large pods then you will need to “double pod” them: remove the beans from the pod and remove the outer casing from the individual beans.
