Tips:
When buying, look for young, fresh-looking pods with firm beans inside.
Brown spots on the bean are completely fine to eat, so no need to remove them.
To prepare the runner beans, remove the top and tail and use a vegetable peeler to run through the sides of the bean and remove the thread.
