Tips:

  • When buying fresh, look for firm green pods with evenly spaced out peas, as overcrowded pods are likely to contain tough peas.

  • To prepare, break open the pod and gently press out the peas.

  • If making immediately, rinse well before cooking - otherwise store in a ziplock bag and wash just before cooking.
