Sweetcorn
Carbon Footprint (CO2e/kg):

Tips:
If you can purchase corn wrapped in its husk, look for a husk that is intact, green and tightly wrapping its silky threads.
To clean the corn, peel back the green leaves and remove the silky threads (you can use a brush for this if you have one).
There are several ways to remove corn from the cob, but the simplest is probably to place the cob vertically in a bowl and gently run a sharp knife through the cob from top to bottom.
